The EPC-2 UL 924 shunt relay converts regular light fixtures to approved emergency lighting while preserving normal lighting controls and design aesthetics. During normal operation, an occupancy sensor, relay panel or control switches regular and emergency fixtures together. If utility power is interrupted, the EPC-2 automatically bypasses the control and turns emergency fixtures on at full brightness.
